Effective date: 25 Aug 2026

This policy applies to Games Night: Timer App. It replaces our general privacy policy for this app, because Games Night offers in-app purchases and that involves a little more information than our other apps. Everything not covered below works as the general policy describes.

1. Information we collect

Games Night itself does not ask you for any personal information. There is no account to create, no sign-in, and nothing you enter into the app leaves your device. Your timers, themes and game settings are stored on your device only.

If you make an in-app purchase, we use RevenueCat to manage it. RevenueCat receives, on our behalf:

  • Purchase history - which purchase you made and its status, so the app knows what you are entitled to and can restore it on your other devices.
  • An anonymous app user identifier - a random identifier generated on your device so purchases can be matched to the right person. It is not your name, your email address or your Apple Account, and we do not link it to them.
  • Basic device and country information sent as part of that request.

We do not send RevenueCat your name, email address, or phone number.

Apple also processes your purchase as the seller. Payment happens entirely within Apple's systems, and we never see or receive your payment details. Apple's handling of that transaction is covered by Apple's privacy policy.

2. Data usage and sharing

Purchase information is used only to give you what you paid for, to restore purchases across your devices, and to understand our own sales in aggregate. We do not sell it, and we do not use it for advertising.

RevenueCat acts as our data processor, which means it handles this information on our instructions and for no other purpose. It does not track you across other apps for advertising. Its own practices are described in RevenueCat's privacy policy.

Games Night contains no advertising, no analytics SDK, and no third-party tracking beyond the purchase processing described above.

3. Security

Purchase data travels over encrypted connections and is held by RevenueCat and Apple under their own security arrangements. Because we hold no accounts and no contact details of our own, there is very little about you for us to lose.

4. Your choices and our limits

You can use Games Night indefinitely without making a purchase. If you never buy anything, nothing about you ever reaches RevenueCat.

If you do make a purchase, the record RevenueCat holds is tied to a random identifier generated on your device. We deliberately keep no name, email address or account alongside it. That is good for your privacy, but it has a consequence we would rather state plainly than gloss over: if you write and ask us to delete your data, we have no way of telling which record is yours.

What that means in practice:

  • Removing the app leaves that identifier behind, unused. Reinstalling generates a new one, so the old record is no longer connected to anything you use.
  • If you can tell us the identifier, we can delete the record it belongs to. Games Night does not currently show it to you. If that matters to you, write to us and say so, and we will look at surfacing it in the app.
  • Apple holds its own record of the transaction as the seller of the app. That one is between you and Apple and we cannot delete it on your behalf. See Apple's privacy policy.

If you have a privacy question or request, write to privacy@whiskmobile.com and we will tell you honestly what we can and cannot do about it.

5. Changes to this policy

We may update this policy to reflect changes in the app or in legal requirements. The effective date above always shows the current version.
